Founded in 1989, Orbis is a privately owned investment firm managing C$91 billion in assets under management as at 31 August 2026. Our core skill is bottom-up stock selection, guided by an unconstrained, contrarian philosophy grounded in the belief that market inefficiencies exist and can be exploited by fundamental, long-term investors. Our primary offering includes four long-only equity strategies: Global (MSCI ACWI), International (MSCI ACWI ex-US), Emerging Markets, and Japan. Our flagship Global Equity Strategy has outperformed the MSCI ACWI Index by 4.1% p.a. net of fees since inception in 1990.
